Concerts and Events Schedule

February 25, 2006 and April 2, 2006
"From Harlem to Hollywood" not only makes reference to the spread of jazz westward, but also to the fact that the jazz greats whose work is showcased in these two concerts-Benny Carter, and Ella Fitzgerald-were active throughout their long and distinguished careers in both locales. In this new concert series, smaller groups of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra perform their music. For more information, visit: www.residentassociates.org
